At AgilityInsights®, we believe in the power of continuous improvement. Often, organizations think they need to replace old tools and systems with new ones to move forward. However, through years of experience, we’ve learned that you don’t always need to throw out the old—you can simply improve it. That’s why we’re excited to announce new AgilityHealth Radars and enhancements to some of our most popular tools, which are designed to further support your Agile transformation journey.

Many of these improvements stem from the valuable feedback we’ve received from our customers. Here’s a closer look at what’s new and how these updates can help accelerate your business agility.

Team Culture Radar: Fostering Stronger Relationships

Team culture is one of the most significant influences on a team’s success. It impacts how well team members collaborate, communicate, and resolve conflicts. To help organizations develop strategies for improving team culture, we’ve introduced the Team Culture Radar.

 

Inspired by Patrick Lencioni’s book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, the Team Culture Radar focuses on:

• Relationships: Collaboration, conflict management, inclusion, and trust.
• Process: Outcome orientation, role ownership, feedback, and vision.

This radar helps teams measure their cultural strengths and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights for fostering a healthier, more effective team culture.

DevSecOps Radar: Enhancing Security Practices

Our DevOps Radar has evolved into the DevSecOps Radar, taking a deeper dive into security practices. By leveraging the Mobius Loop—which connects delivery, security, and operations in an iterative cycle—we’ve introduced security as a core competency across the radar.

This new DevSecOps Radar incorporates essential security concepts like:

• Threat Models
• Secure Coding
• Digital Signatures

Developed with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) guidelines in mind, this radar provides a clear view of security practices across the Agile lifecycle, helping organizations mature their security efforts alongside their development and operations processes.

Top Drivers for Team Performance

The TeamHealth® 3.0 Radar is the foundation of our radar library. By analyzing data from over 4,600 teams who took this assessment over the past two and a half years, we identified the top drivers for team performance. These insights are now integrated into the TeamHealth Radar, giving you a detailed view of the performance drivers within your team.

In each competency related to performance and team happiness, you can now see the top drivers and evaluate the strength of these drivers in relation to that competency. This new feature allows teams to identify the key areas that contribute to their performance and focus on continuous improvement.

Talent Development Growth: Enhancing Key Roles

Product Owner Radar V3.0

Based on popular demand, the Product Owner Radar has been revamped to the Product Owner (Manager) V3.0 Radar. We’ve kept the competencies of Product Owner and Product Manager together, aligning them with the Lean Product Radar. This new version makes the competencies of the Product Owner (Manager) more closely aligned with the Product Team for better role correlation.

Scrum Master Radar V3.0

The Scrum Master Radar has been upgraded to the Scrum Master V3.0 Radar, now using a Pre-Crawl/Crawl/Walk/Run/Fly maturity scale instead of the previous Hi/Lo scale. This change provides Scrum Masters with clearer, more actionable insights and targeted growth items for improvement.

Agile Leader Radar V3.0 and Agile Coach Radar V2.0

The Agile Leader Radar v 3.0  and Agile Team Coach Radar V2.0 have both been updated to better support the evolving needs of leadership and coaching roles within Agile teams. These updates provide greater visibility into leadership maturity and coaching effectiveness, helping organizations track the development of their leaders and coaches.

Growth Portals: Resources for Scaling Continuous Improvement

In the spirit of continuous improvement, we’ve also enhanced many of the Growth Portals that support our radars. The Agilityinsights Growth Portals are vital for scaling self-learning and sustaining maturity improvements. These portals contain resources designed to help teams create their continuous improvement plans, including:

• Targeted recommendations, videos, and resources for each radar competency
• Consistent guidance to scale learning across teams
• Mentorship opportunities for qualified support from coaches

We’ve developed a new Growth Portal for the DevSecOps Radar and made updates to existing portals, including those for:

• Product Owner (Manager) V3.0
• Scrum Master V3.0
• Agile Leader V3.0
• Agile Team Coach V2.0
• Enterprise Business Agility 2.0
